Eliot and Lauren returned with a new bride and groom this week in a MAFS Australia first, but people are calling out a really unfair detail.

They were the first to leave the experiment after Eliot savagely walked out during their honeymoon, claiming she didn’t meet his strict list of “non-negotiables”.

Now, both of them been given a second chance at finding love with newcomers Veronica and Clint, but wait a minute – what about Katie?!

Her time on MAFS Australia was also cut short after groom Tim refused to move into the apartments, and people are fuming that she didn’t get the opportunity to return.

“How come Lauren and Eliot get another chance but Katie doesn’t?” one viewer wrote on X.

Another said: “Eliot didn’t deserve a second chance. Lauren deserves it though. You know who else did? Katie.”

A third person added: “I don’t agree with Eliot and Lauren getting a second marriage, but why wasn’t Katie given a second chance? She deserved it so much more than those two.”

Katie wanted to try and make things work, but Tim voted to leave at the first Commitment Ceremony, which meant it was the end of the road for both of them.

Her MAFS journey was doomed from the start as he didn’t even give her a chance at the wedding, pulling the producers aside and asking for a new bride because she wasn’t what he asked for.

He then admitted he wasn’t attracted to Katie on the honeymoon, leaving her in tears and knocking her self-confidence. So, she essentially got the same chance as Eliot and Lauren.

People think they know why she didn’t return with a new groom, and it all comes down to entertainment.

“She won’t bring the drama that Eliot and Lauren will bring, sure that’s why she wasn’t asked back,” one person said.

Another agreed: “I was thinking she deserved a second chance but I bet it’s because they wanted to set both halves of the couple up again so there would be drama at the dinner parties.”
