This is why Ryan was really crying at the MAFS commitment ceremony but it was edited out
He wasn’t in tears over his imaginary future son
Last night’s MAFS Commitment Ceremony saw Ryan get emotional while speaking to the experts, but he wasn’t upset for the reason it seemed.
He was fighting back tears as they spoke about their future kids, with Jacqui telling the experts: “It’s not about me. I think about my children.”
“So I don’t need the validation, I need it for my children. I’m happy with how I look, I’m happy with who I am as a person but I don’t want to necessarily be in the energy of someone who doesn’t do that for my children one day.”
Ryan then replied: “So, you’re going to get that validation from me. Especially my son. When he comes round.”
Viewers thought it was strange that he was tearing up about a hypothetical future son, but Jacqui has revealed that’s not actually what he was crying about at all.

In a social media post, she claimed he was in tears about his childhood bullying, but the entire conversation was cut up and it was edited out of the show.
“Yes – I want my partner to put me first. Why? Because I deserve that. You don’t need to lie to do so… just some basic IQ & EQ,” she wrote.
“AND YES, everyone deserves that?! I’m on this show looking for a long-term partner… a future dad to my kids. I don’t want to raise kids around a man who doesn’t build me up.”
“I want a man who builds me up, AND then our kids and daughters too!! Why is that not something MAFS would want to showcase?!”

He spoke to the experts about how he was bullied as a child, but none of it was aired, so it was made to look like Ryan was in tears over his imaginary future son.

It comes as Eliot, who is returning to the show with a new wife this week, has also slammed the show for overly editing his conversations and wrongly painting him out to be a villain.
