‘I let it fizzle out’: Ryan’s ex before MAFS Australia has spoken out with bizarre details

Apparently, Ryan believes Atlantis is real

In just a few episodes Ryan Donnelly has gone from a somewhat forgettable groom to utterly despised after he made an x-rated comment about his wife Jacqui Burfoot’s “crazy eyes” on MAFS Australia.

Former actor Ryan was largely unproblematic besides a few confrontations with his equally as controversial wife Jacqui, but that all changed in the most recent episode. As the grooms gathered for an intimacy lesson from expert Alessandra Rampolla, Ryan said: “I was going to say like…absolutely like.. and you know what it was like.”

The subsequent sentence was bleeped out on both the UK and Australia, but a source later revealed how he said: “Jacqui has crazy eyes but gives really good head.”

“Everyone was in total shock. They could not believe what they had just heard. Their jaws literally fell to the floor. Everyone was speechless,” the source added to So Dramatic.

Now, a statement from a former flame of Ryan’s has suggested we’ve only seen the tip of the red flag iceberg heading our way.

Speaking to reality TV host Abbie Chatfield in a clip uploaded to TikTok, a woman known only as Sarah shared her experiences of dating Ryan and his let’s say unique interests of “#stoicism and #mensrights.”

Sarah first met Ryan on Instagram after he followed her, and soon enough, he had slid into her DMs. After a while of back and forth they went on a “couple” of dates in Australia.

“He was lovely to me but it was all just a bit worrying,” Sarah told Abbie who questioned what was worrying. “You know, masculinity, it all just felt a little toxic and I kind of got the ick from that.”

Sarah is an archaeologist and soon found that Ryan was sharing his love for “conspiracy theories” centred around her job. These allegedly included a belief in Atlantis being real (but same), and the idea that aliens had built the pyramids.

“It was all 2022 anti-vaxxer sh*t,” she added, though she did state he was never explicitly an anti-vaxxer.

Explaining how the fling ended, she said: “I let it fizzle out because I was kinda loving another toxic relationship I was in. He was really nice to me, he was always really kind to me, and I haven’t been watching him on Married at First Sight because I feel it would be too weird.”

People seemed to expect Sarah’s bomb, as one person said: “The way my jaw stayed in place.”

“I feel on their next date, Ryan was absolutely going to tell Sarah that dinosaurs never existed,” another wrote.
