Oh! This is why the MAFS grooms didn’t call Ryan out for that x-rated comment about Jacqui

Ryan shocked the nation when he made a comment so explicit that it had to be cut from MAFS Australia, and Dave has revealed why the grooms didn’t call him out.

He made the vulgar remark during an Intimacy Week workshop with expert Alessandra Rampolla and all the other men in the experiment.

They were all talking about how their sex lives were going when Ryan disturbingly said: “Jacqui has crazy eyes but she gives really good head.”

We saw Dave, Billy, Jeff and Tony all gasp in shock in the episode, but they weirdly chose not to confront Ryan directly.

In an interview with Nine, Dave revealed they did this out of respect for Alessandra, deciding it wasn’t the right place or time.

“When someone says a comment as disgusting as what Ryan said it definitely catches you off guard,” he said.

“I was like – OK, Alessandra is here, I just can’t go off at him. I wanted to bite my tongue for the respect of Alessandra. It wasn’t a Dinner Party.”

“I didn’t want to get into an argument in front of her and then she had to handle six or seven men arguing.”

He also said it wasn’t fair because Jacqui wasn’t there to defend herself, and Ryan was really “bagging her out”.

“We handled it in a way where we went back, got some advice from our partners and it definitely wasn’t something that was going to be swept under the rug.”

“It’s definitely something that needs to be brought up, I just feel like there’s a time and place for that especially when we’re on an experiment on TV.”

However, Dave revealed that he does get “a bit worked up” at the next Dinner Party, adding: “It’s only because I’m passionate, and Ryan’s a bit of a doofus.”
