Throwback snaps to cheesy thoughts: Inside the abandoned Twitters of the Love Is Blind cast
Not one of them only following OnlyFans models
We are just getting to know the cast of Love Is Blind season eight, but after finding their abandoned Twitter accounts, I feel like I know most of them better than their happily ever after’s.
Being introduced to a new crop of reality TV show participants just wouldn’t be the same without some casual social media stalking and the season eight cast did not disappoint. From random thoughts to baby snaps their accounts serve as a reminder that they are people too and were once just as strange as you and I.
1. Love Is Blind’s Sara Carton has had Twitter since 2009

If you asked me to rank the Love Is Blind cast then Sara would be pretty high, and after scrolling through over 5-years worth of tweets, I might just love her the most.
Over the years, Sara has imparted tidbits of wisdom like “Cottage cheese is truly not appreciated enough” and “My apple legit tasted like a pear” but she’s diversified her Twitter presence to cover topics other than food.
“Life’s so easy but we insist on making it complicated,” she said in 2014. Another reads: “People suck sometimes idk.”
A philosopher in the making if I ever did see one.
From the look of her Twitter, tween Sara (and possibly adult Sara) was a huge fan of Chipoltle, Twilight, her family, gaming, and phrases you could very much imagine your mum hanging in the living room.
2. Mason Horacek has two Twitter accounts
Most Read
Mason Horacek has two official Twitter accounts but he hasn’t posted on either of them since 2015. I could watch him on Love Is Blind for months despite not finding a match, but honestly, his Twitter is a little disappointing compared to Sara’s.
That being said, there was a bizarre thread that looked to be just a retelling of the Little Red Riding Hood fable. I’ve read the thread four times and still don’t get the point.
3. Ben Mezzenga’s Twitter is great for sports fans (I am not a sports fan)
Everything in life can be related to a Spongebob episode
— Ben Mezzenga (@BenMezzenga) January 4, 2018
In true Twitter fashion, Ben’s official first tweet was “First tweet!” followed by the cryptic “Hanging with a person that says dirty a lot and says it in a weird way also” two days later.
Ben has not posted on his Twitter since 2023 which is not a huge loss in my life because most of his posts were about baseball. That being said, you learn something new about yourself every day because I didn’t realise I was into the baseball uniform.
Sara should probably get herself to Specsavers because in 2012 her fiance tweeted: “When girls think they don’t look good with glasses #girlswithglassesarehot.”
4. Brittany Dodson’s Twitter is like a bible
“Mine eyes are ever toward the Lord; for he shall pluck my feet out of the net.”
Psalms 25:15 KJV https://t.co/XrZjWunNa9— Brittany Dodson (@twittinbritt) November 2, 2015
Brittany Dodson narrowly dodged the bullet that was Devin but it’s low-key sad because she had good vibes, good chat, and was way more interesting than half of the cast.
A Twitter account that could belong to Brittany is actually still posting, with the last tweet coming just this month and reading “Haaaallllp!” The bio features the same university Love Is Blind’s Brittany went to along with her current job as a basketball coach.
The account was first created in 2009 when Brittany predominantly posted bible quotes, words of encouragement, and links to her Instagram.
5. Daniel Hastings joined Twitter in January

Daniel Hastings has not abandoned his Twitter yet because he literally joined in January 2024. He’s only posted promotional stuff from the show, and because Taylor doesn’t have Twitter, at least we don’t have to worry about ANOTHER stalking accusation.
6. Shocker, Dave’s Twitter is a red flag
At this point, it shouldn’t be surprising that Dave’s abandoned Twitter – and I use abandoned loosely here because everything is not as it seems – is a glaring red flag. He joined in 2019 but has never posted anything, added a photo, or interacted with other accounts. Ironically, despite the secretive nature of the account, I was able to find it by simply typing in his name and spying on people who had tagged his old baseball photos.
Dave has 10 followers and is following 410 people, all of which are OnlyFans creators or adult entertainers. Though enjoying x-rated content is not a crime, if anything it should be more normalised, some of these performers joined Twitter at the start of this year which would suggest he’s still active on there.
Not going to lie, the FBI should hire me.
