Casey slid into Gabby’s DMs years before All Stars and asked her on the most awkward date

The All Stars Islanders have all started doing interviews after leaving the villa, and Casey has revealed something super embarrassing about he and Gabby’s past.

Speaking to Cosmopolitan UK, he revealed that he already slid into Gabby’s DMs years before they went to South Africa. They never mentioned that!

Casey clearly already had his eye on the personal trainer, but things never took off between them because the message he sent was an instant turn off for her.

“Yeah we followed each other on Instagram before, it was about two years before we went on the show maybe, but Gabby was in a relationship so we’d never really spoken,” he explained.

“I may have slid into her DMs once or twice but did it go anywhere? Absolutely not,” he continued while laughing.

Gabby then said “Yeah because you had s**t chat” and added: “I’m so glad though that we didn’t actually meet up after the Deliveroo chat.”

Basically, he messaged Gabby asking what she was doing at the weekend and she flirtily asked: “I’m not sure, what’s on offer?”

However, Casey didn’t offer to take her on a fancy dinner date as she expected. Instead, he said: “Do you wanna come round for a Deliveroo?”

Yes, he actually said that! A takeaway at home was all the Islander could offer, and Gabby was so taken aback that she didn’t even reply. How awkward.

She said she’s “glad” that she didn’t reply though because if they had met up before, things probably wouldn’t have turned out the way they did.

“I think everything happens for a reason and I’m glad that we met properly for the first time in the villa,” Casey agreed.
