She’s had the most incredible glow-up

Gabby shared these side-by-side pics on Instagram in 2024, showing off the huge transformation she has had. The first picture was taken when she was 21, 18 months before she went on Love Island.
“I worked in a burger restaurant for years, literally eating two burgers a day because it was free and left more money for partying,” she explained. At the time, she had just finished dance college.
She was in a very dark place after losing her dad so decided to go travelling, starting with staying with family in Miami where she ate a “tub of Ben and Jerry’s every day”.
When she came back to the UK, she started studying for her personal trainer qualification, which was the “turning point” when she learned about food and fitness and became a new person.

“I used to go through a cycle of binge eating and starving. I used to obsessively count and allow myself very low calories, then get so hungry I’d binge on s**t,” she explained.

“I used to do fad diets like Juice Plus and then binge again. I used to go out and drink four bottles of wine, eat a Chinese on the way home, then have a fry up the next day and not move a muscle. I was miserable, I lacked structure, motivation, discipline and drive.”
“Fast forward 7 years I am still a work in progress but I have come a long way. Building strength in my body is the driving force in my life. It makes me feel strong inside and out and I couldn’t do without it.”

By the time she went on Love Island the first time, she was pretty confident, but there was one thing that still really bothered her – her boobs.
“When I was there, I was 25 and fabulous. But I still had a meltdown on the show. It was about my boobs. I didn’t directly say that, or maybe I did. But I had no boobs, I just wasn’t naturally well-endowed,” she told The Sun.
“There was a lot of girls on the show that did have lovely big, fake or real boobs. And they were all getting loads of dates and I was like, ‘Is it because I haven’t got any boobs or is it just because nobody actually wants me?'”
A few years later, she finally decided to get a boob job but it went wrong because she went back to the gym too early. So, she had to have a second one.

Now, Gabby is a personal trainer who does online coaching and runs her own wellness retreats called Shape Up With Gabby.
She said she’s the “happiest and healthiest” she’s ever been, training five days per week, doing 15,000 steps a day and helping other women get the confidence she has.
