This is the real reason Scott didn’t return to All Stars with the rest of the dumped Islanders

Last night all the dumped Islanders came back to vote out one of the All Stars couples ahead of the final. But, one person who notably didn’t make a return to the All Stars villa was Scott Thomas.

Scott quit the show quite early on, after he said he struggled with not progressing in his connection with Tina. Despite him walking instead of officially being dumped, he still got an invite to return. Ron, who also quit the show, was among those who came back for the twist scenes in the villa.

But, it turns out Scott declined the offer from ITV to return to the All Stars villa and dump a couple. It’s been reported he didn’t “see any point” in going back, and has well and truly put his experience behind him.

A source told The Sun: “Scott didn’t want to go back in after quitting, so he told ITV no to flying back out. He achieved everything he wanted to on the show and didn’t see any point in going back. He just wants to focus on his business now.”

As well as this, Scott will not return to the grand final, tonight (Monday 17th). The former Islanders will return again to watch who is crowned winner, but Scott has not flown out to South Africa for this part of the show.

When he left the villa, Scott admitted: “I can’t force connections, and I feel like I’ve come here and done everything I wanted to do. I just have to be true to myself.”

It was reported at the time that Scott was “unable to get past the feeling Tina wasn’t right for him and his biggest priority was not wasting her precious time in the villa.

“He knows this is a big opportunity for her in love and life and would never want to ruin that. After taking some time out with the dedicated Love Island welfare team, Scott decided that the best thing he could do for himself was to remove himself from the situation.”
