A former Islander has said she was meant to be going on a date with Omar just days before he rocked up to Love Island All Stars. Let’s just say, she was a little bit shocked to see him in the South Africa villa.

Omar was first on the show in 2024, and now an Islander from that series has claimed Omar stood her up to go back on the show. Ellie Jackson shared her disbelief that he was a bombshell in a TikTok video. On the day Omar was announced as a bombshell, she posted about her date with a mystery Islander, who it’s since been confirmed was Omar.

In the video, she lip-synced and wrote across it: “When you’re supposed to be going on a date next week but he’s just gone into the villa as a bombshell.” In the caption she added: “Guess that’s not happening.” The video has had over a million views, and the comments are going wild. Yikes!

It turns out the pair, who were both on the show last summer, had Valentine’s Day plans together. Ellie is now shocked to find out through the show that those plans aren’t happening. Honestly, imagine seeing your V Day link on Love Island? Brutal, really.

A source told The Sun: “Omar had been chatting to Ellie on and off for a while. They had planned a Valentine’s Day date in London but it looks like that is off the cards now. They have really great chemistry and it could have been the start of something. She was a bit bemused when he entered the villa, so decided to make a TikTok about it.”
