Justin Bieber addresses why he unfollowed his wife Hailey on Instagram

In one of the more bizarre stories to come out today, the news that Justin Bieber had seemingly unfollowed his wife Hailey Bieber on Instagram inevitably got the entire internet discussing the situation in a frenzy. It’s not particularly uncommon for celebrities to do a big Instagram purge of who they might be following, but it is notably less common for husbands to have unfollowed their wife – so the news of Justin Bieber doing just that to Hailey obviously raised alarm bells that the two of them could potentially be in rocky waters. Justin Biever has now thankfully addressed the fact he unfollowed Hailey on Instagram, although potentially the response poses more questions than answers.

After the news started coming out that he had unfollowed Hailey on Instagram, with the usual PopCrave and PopBase ilk of the internet feverishly posting screenshots that he didn’t follow her anymore, it took a few hours for Bieber to address the situation himself on Instagram.

“Someone went on my account and unfollowed my wife,” he wrote via Instagram Story on Tuesday, January 21. “Sh*t is getting suss out here.”

However, Justin Bieber has now deleted the post from his story, which again – weird.

It’s been a controversial day for Bieber on Instagram – between the unfollowing Hailey saga and his decision to post pics of him with a bong on the platform. Both have got backlash from people online.

It’s also been reported that Justin Bieber had also unfollowed Stephen Baldwin, the famous father of his wife Hailey on Instagram.
