Selling Sunset star Mary Fitzgerald slammed for complaining about economy seat amid LA fires

She’s getting called out for being completely ‘tone deaf’

The cast of Selling Sunset have all been affected by the LA fires, but now Mary Fitzgerald Bonnet is facing serious backlash after her “tone deaf” complaints whilst the fires rage on.

The Selling Sunset star took to her Instagram story over the weekend to vent her frustration about being downgraded from business class to economy amid the LA fires, with Mary Fitzgerald staying she would “never again” use American Airlines.

Poor Mary has to sit in economy 🙄

She angrily complained on her Instagram: “So here’s an update. Because I was the first one to check in, I got booted from business class which we paid for. I’ve got put in economy but I have a huge business meeting and I’ve got to get there regardless. So, I’m loving American Airlines right now.”

She then posted a video of herself in her economy seat, writing: “Seriously, [American Airlines] oversold business and I have to go economy even though [I] paid for business. Never again!!!”

Her “tone deaf” video comes as her home state of LA is currently facing extreme fires, with the death toll having now risen to 15.

However, alongside the rest of the Selling Sunset cast, Mary Fitzgerald has been doing her part to try to aid those affected by the LA fires and is currently donating clothes.

She explained: “Okay, so, I’ve got a bunch of friends that are all pulling together. We’ve got kids’ clothes. I’m going through my clothes that I’m getting rid of – a tonne of stuff that I’m trying to give away to people in need.

“So, if you guys are in need, you’ve had to desert your homes, or you’ve lost everything, let me know what you need. And I will either put a post out there if we don’t already have it, or know somebody that has it. Or something. But we’ll try to get it for you.”
