Hang on, how close are the Kardashians’ and Jenners’ houses to the Los Angeles fires?

Over 12,000 houses have now burned down in the Los Angeles fires, including the houses of several celebrities. Several Kardashians and Jenners were evacuated from their mansions over the weekend. So, here’s a proper explanation of where the Kardashians’ and Jenners’ houses actually are in relation to the Los Angeles fires.

Which bit of Los Angeles do the Kardashians and Jenners live in?

Most of the family live within six miles of each other in the Hidden Hills and Calabasas. These areas are in the west part of Los Angeles, just west of Beverly Hills and north of the Palisades and Malibu. It’s a slightly quieter, very exclusive area on the edge of Los Angeles that’s a bit away from the city centre. It’s great for celebrities who want lots of space and privacy (and have lots of money).

Kim Kardashian still lives in the extremely minimalist mansion she used to share with Kanye West. She bought out his share of the site in 2021 for $23 million. It’s in the Hidden Hills.

Kris Jenner and Khloe Kardashian recently built houses right next to each other in the west of Hidden Hills, a matter of streets away from Kim. Scott Disick lives in a smaller house in the Hidden Hills. Kourtney lives slightly east of them all in Calabasas with her husband Travis Barker.

Kendall Jenner lives a bit further away from the others in Beverly Hills. That’s further east, towards Hollywood and the centre of Los Angeles.

How close are the fires to the Kardashians’ houses?

One fire did get scarily close to the Kardashians’ houses. The Kenneth fire burned lots of houses in the boundrary of the Hidden Hills. The Kardashians who live in the Hidden Hills area were told to evacuate their houses over the weekend. Thankfully, the Kenneth fire has now been contained, and the evacuation orders have been lifted from this area.

The Pacific Palisades fire is still fairly close to the Kardashians. This fire now covers 23,000 acres. Kim, Khloe, Kris and Scott live approximately six miles away from areas which are under evacuation orders from the Pacific Palisades fire.

Most of Calabasas is now under an evacuation warning because of the Pacific Palisades fire – meaning the people there might be told to leave their homes at any moment. It’s been reported that Kourtney lives somewhere in Calabasas, so she might be in an area with an evacuation warning. We know Travis Barker’s older children were told to evacuate last week.

Kendall Jenner lives slightly east of the Pacific Palisades fire. Her area hasn’t received any evacuation orders yet.

How have the Los Angeles fires affected the Kardashians?

They’re all keeping busy. Kylie Jenner has donated money. Kendall Jenner went out for sushi with Hailey Bieber, was dragged for it online, then also donated money through her tequila comapny. Kim Kardashian brought a lot of attention to the formerly incarcerated firefighters who have been helping deal with the flames. Khloe Kardashian and Kris Jenner have been posting quite a lot of their thoughts and prayers on their Instagram stories.
