Season two of Squid Game is even hotter than the first season, so it’s no surprise that there’s a whole line of merch and even a spin off game on Fortnite now.
The craze has even dominated TikTok, where some accounts have added the number “456” on their profile picture. Anyone who’s seen the show will recognise the badge as Seong Gi-hun’s number from Squid Game, but what you might not know is why it’s there, or how you can get it.

So, the number 456 on TikTok profile pictures is actually a nod to Squid Game main character, Seong Gi-hun, who is player 456 in the game. Gi-hun’s number is instantly recognisable, with him being the winner of the 33rd Squid Game in 2020 who returned to the 2024 game in an ongoing attempt to end the games.
The frame is simply part of a collaboration between Netflix and TikTok to celebrate the new season of Squid Game 2, and can be added to your profile in a few simple steps.
- Go onto the TikTok profile of an account who already has the frame, such as Squid Game Netflix
- Click on the profile picture and select “Get frame”
- You will need to complete a Squid Game inspired game, Red Light, Green Light,
- After completing the game, the 456 frame will appear on your TikTok profile picture
You will also have the opportunity to play the remaining games, including Rock, Paper, Scissors, Minus One, Jegi and Mingle, which are all inspired by challenges in season two.

However, if you successfully complete all four games, the 456 frame on your TikTok profile will change to be the gold piggy bank, the instantly recognisable symbol of victory and the ultimate prize in Squid Game.
