Where the chaotic The Traitors season three cast went to uni, plus what they studied
The Uni of Oxford to The Traitors pipeline is strong
The cast of The Traitors season three are such a brainy bunch. We’re only a week in and the sneaky mind games have already started. It’s not surprising that loads of The Traitors season three cast went to uni, including brainy Russell Group unis. Two of them even went to Oxbridge?! Here’s a rundown of where all The Traitors season three cast went to uni before they started causing chaos in the castle.
Alexander Dragonetti
This is the former diplomat from London who inexplicably agreed to get off the train in the very first episode. Previews for the reason of the season have hinted that we might not have seen the last of him, though? He studied modern history at the University of Oxford, then in the spirit of many Oxbridge humanities students who don’t know what to do with themselves, joined the foreign office.
Armani Gouveia
She seems to be better at studying than was at being a traitor. Armani qualified to be a barrister at Gray’s Inn back in 2021. She studied at Nottingham Law School, which is part of Nottingham Trent University.
Charlotte Berman
This is the contestant who is inexplicably pretending to be Welsh (???). She actually went to the University of Exeter. She got a 2:1 in mathematics and Spanish which feels like such a rogue combination. Her choice of degree seems to be working out for her though, because she now works in social media marketing for TV shows.

Elen Wyn
Gone too soon. Elen studied Welsh at Bangor University and is now a translator in Cardiff.
Francesca Rowan-Plowden
Francesca has a secret theatre kid past. She trained as an actress at the super-prestigious London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) where Benedict Cumberbatch and Richard Armitage went. I’m guessing the acting career didn’t quite work out, though, because she now runs her own interior design company instead.
Freddie Fraser
This year’s youngest The Traitors cast member is literally at uni right now. 20-year-old Freddie is in his second year of studying politics and international relations at the University of Nottingham. It looks like he might be interested in studying law afterwards – his LinkedIn says he’d done loads of work experience at law firms.
Jack Marriner-Brown
He’s one of the three people who got off the train at the start, but seems likely to return to the show at some point. Jack was introduced on the show as a landscaper and market seller. But it turns out he’s also a pretty accomplished actor? He did a whole degree in acting at the London College of Music. Jack’s been in several plays, a film called The Apocolypse Box and an advert for Love Is Blind. Really.
Joe Scott
Joe completed his Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) at the University of Southampton. He’s now teaching English and drama at a secondary school.
Kasim Ahmed
Kas studied medicine at Imperial College London. No wonder he’s so brainy. He now works as a doctor at a hospital in Cambridgeshire.
Maia Gouveia
Maia studied at Nottingham Trent University – just like her sister. She graduated while pregnant back in 2022.
Minah Shannon
Minah, who is by far the most competent traitor so far this year, went to Liverpool John Moores University. She’s now the manager of a call centre.
Yin Yin Lü
The traitors murdered Yin straight away out of fear of her braininess. She did her undergrad degree in English and linguistics at the University of Columbia, then did a Master’s in English language at the University of Oxford. She then did a PhD at the University of Oxford. Her thesis was called “#VoteLeave or #StrongerIn: Resonance and Rhetoric in the EU Referendum” and sounds super deep.
