Spotify’s Playlist in a Bottle is back for another year!

The feature lets you capture songs that resonated with you at a particular moment in time and seal them away for a year in a virtual music time capsule.

Then, you can remember and reflect on the music you loved a whole year later and see how your tastes have changed – but how do you find yours?!

Here’s how to see your Spotify Playlist in a Bottle

You will only be able to see your Playlist in a Bottle if you set up the feature last year and chose a series of songs to put into your music time capsule.

If you did do that, all you have to do is click on this link on your mobile device. You’ll then be redirected to your time capsule on the Spotify app.

Click “Claim Your Playlist” to see which songs were sealed in your musical time capsule last year.

Then, you can save and listen to your complete 2023 Playlist in a Bottle, which includes all the songs you chose, until January 31st.

Don’t forget to make a music time capsule for 2026

Once you’ve looked back at your old music time capsule, it’s time to create a new one to open in 2026.

First, you have to select your time capsule. You can pick from loads of random items like a bottle, trash can or snow globe.

Then, you’ll need to answer a series of song prompts like “What song brings out my alter-ego” and “What song describes my relationship status”.
