A detailed rundown of Katie Price and Peter Andre’s messy row over their kids
Their daughter Princess has now responded to the feud
Katie Price and Peter Andre are feuding right now over their children Princess and Junior. Here’s an easy-to-read rundown of the argument so far, because it’s getting messy.
For the benefit of anyone who wasn’t alive when Katie Price and Peter Andre were actually cool, here’s some quick context. Katie Price and Peter Andre met on I’m A Celebrity in 2004. They got married in 2005. The couple had two kids together – Junior (who is now 20) and Princess (who recently turned 18). Katie and Peter divorced in 2009. Their split was, er, not exactly harmonious.
Katie Price complained she wasn’t invited to Princess’s birthday party
Okay, so Katie Price and Peter Andre’s feud is kicking off again because their daughter Princess is starring in a new reality show about her life, called The Princess Diaries. Peter features quite a lot in the show. Katie is mentioned, but never appears.
Back in July, Katie price claimed on her podcast The Katie Price Show that other people didn’t want her in Princess’s show. Katie explained: “Certain people don’t think it’s good for Princess to be seen with me.” Supposedly, she was banned from Princess’s 18th birthday party, because it would appear on TV. She said: “Princess was like ‘I’m having a party’. And I wasn’t invited because it was for filming.”

On 14th August, Katie brought up this issue again on her podcast. Because she isn’t around when Princess is being filmed, she feels she’s missing out on spending time with her daughter. She said: “I don’t care that I’m not in Princess’s show. I don’t need to raise my profile by being on Princess’s show. I do enough stuff… I just want to be there with her, because I now feel that I’ve missed out on so much.”
Katie called for the people involved to have a conversation about this, “for the sake of the kids”. She said: “I think it’s about time all of us adults just sit down and talk about what their beef is with me and just get over it.”
Peter Andre accused Katie of spreading ‘lies’
That evening, Peter posted a long statement to his Instagram story. He wrote: “For sixteen years, I have stayed silent in the face of repeated lies from my ex-wife and her family, out of respect for my children and loved ones, but staying silent has been incredibly frustrating. That ends today.
“The latest comments about my children’s welfare and living arrangements compel me to set the record straight. For well-documented reasons, and for their safety, Junior and Princess came into my care in 2018 and remained with me until they reached adulthood. In 2019, the family courts issued a legally binding order to enforce this arrangement. I have never made this public before, out of respect for my children.
“In 2011 and 2025, publicly documented court cases found my ex-wife had made false claims. She was ordered to pay substantial damages and legal costs, and to apologise to me and my management. The same falsehoods are being repeated today.
“Unfortunately, there are many more lies and baseless accusations I have yet to address. Those will now be dealt with in the coming months.”

In 2011, Peter won a defamation case against Katie. In 2009, she had falsely claimed in a Heat magazine interview and on The Graham Norton Show that Peter cheated on her and didn’t genuinely care for her first son, Harvey.
Katie Price’s team published a scathing response
A few hours later, a spokesperson for Katie Price told the Daily Mail: “Kate is in a much better and clear headspace and is at peace with the situation. This was in the past and she doesn’t feel the need to bring up tit for tat comments, but more importantly she’s dealing with this the right way and it’s now in her lawyers’ hands. Kate will no longer be gaslighted and bullied as she once was.”
Princess broke her silence on the row

Princess’s response on Snapchat
On Friday morning, a Snapchat user asked Princess during a Q&A: “Does it affect you even now when your mum and dad don’t get on?”
“To be honest, it doesn’t affect me,” Princess responded, “at the end of the day, they broke up when I was two years old so I don’t even have any memory of them being together.” She also wrote: “I love my mum and dad and that’s all that matters.”
