Yes, that is GK Barry with a random cameo in Missing You on Netflix

Girl, what are you doing here?

The new Harlan Coben series Missing You has just landed on Netflix – and no you’re not seeing things, that is GK Barry with a random cameo.

With more than 80million books sold worldwide, Harlan Coben is a top author of over thirty novels, including Fool Me Once, Tell No One and I Will Find You. Of course, all of his books and TV adaptations are known for their huge twists and shocking mysteries.

Missing You feels a bit like the same style of mystery we had in Fool Me Once. It follows a detective whose other half has disappeared, and then suddenly she sees him on a dating app. There are five episodes in total.

The Netflix synopsis for Missing You reads: “Eleven years ago Detective Kat Donovan’s fiancé Josh – the love of her life – disappeared and she’s never heard from him since. Now, swiping profiles on a dating app, she suddenly sees his face and her world explodes all over again. Josh’s reappearance will force her to dive back into the mystery surrounding her father’s murder and uncover long-buried secrets from her past.”

GK Barry plays the role of Vanessa in the new six-part thriller show. From the opening sequence in episode one she can be seen in memories and flash back scenes, where she’s parading around in some bed sheets. The blonde woman looks into the camera, and smiles.

Her character is linked to Rishi Magari (played by Rudi Dharmalingam). It’s all very illusive, as with any Harlan Coben book adaptation.

Between being in the jungle and now Missing You, GK Barry has been busy! GK Barry is obviously very proud of her Missing You cameo, sharing five star reviews of the Netflix show to her Instagram story.

Maybe she’ll be the next Richard Armitage and is going to be cast in every one of the thrillers moving forward? We can hope!
