Does this tiny Squid Game detail reveal one of the games that will feature in season three?

Squid Game is one of those series where the tiniest details really do have enormous significance, and it turns out there’s something in the dorm room that could give a huge clue about something happening next season.

During the last season of Squid Game, the bunk beds in the dorm rooms were slowly removed as players were eliminated, revealing more of the wall as time went on. As more of the wall was revealed, various murals could be seen and as it turns out the drawings actually foreshadowed every game the players would participate in.

And it seems a similar thing has happened this season, although it appears the image on the wall is a hint towards a game that could be featured in season three of the show.

When Gi-hun wakes up in the dormitory for the first time and looks out into the room, if you look to the left and right of the screen above the door you can see a mural which goes around the whole room.

It’s sometimes hard to see the whole thing as various bits of it are hidden behind the bunkbeds but it wraps around the whole dormitory.

As for what the mural depicts, well it seems to show players on monkey bars and seems to be the only game featured on the wall. However, as you’ll know if you’ve watched the whole of season two of Squid Game there is no monkey bar game.

As a result, it seems to suggest that the monkey bars could be one of the games featured next season, and given the age of Player 149, I am genuinely terrified if they do make them do monkey bars next season. Looks like we’ll have to wait until next year to find out!
