The king of TV! I’m A Celeb isn’t the only show Danny Jones has won this year

Danny Jones was crowned king of the I’m A Celeb jungle last week, and he truly couldn’t believe that he won.

“I just want to say thank you so much from the bottom of my heart because it means so much for you to even bother voting. It’s like you’ve bought tickets to a show,” he said after leaving.

“But what’s amazing is you’ve done it just for me being myself and I’ve never shown that really enough. I’ve opened up, and I’ve had a lot of laughs, and I thank you for being on this journey with me.”

It probably came as a huge surprise because he’d already won two competitions this year, The Masked Singer and The Voice UK as a coach!

In January, Danny won the singing competition masked as a huge piranha. The show sees celebrities sing while disguised in silly costumes and viewers have to try and guess who they are.

“I’ve had the most amazing time, I can escape behind here and just be Piranha and sing these songs.  I’ve learnt so much, I’m able to sing higher now just from being on this show.  I am so happy, thank you!” he said after winning.

In November, the 38-year-old then won The Voice UK with Ava Mannings, a 21-year-old singer from Bristol. She was coached by Danny and his fellow McFly bandmate Tom Fletcher.

Ava won the show with a rendition of The Long and Winding Road by The Beatles and a duet of Hoobastank’s The Reason with her coaches.

That means the McFly guitarist has won three different ITV competitions in one year – and people think he truly deserved it.

“Absolutely deserves it tbh, proper down to earth guy out there and was brilliant in it all,” one person wrote on X.

Another agreed: “So well deserved, such a lovely lovely human being.”
