Polly and Adam are still beefing after MAFS, so here’s every time they shaded each other

Polly and Adam were probably the least compatible couple on MAFS UK this year, and it’s a real wonder how they made it all the way to the end especially with all the beefing going on. However, the drama didn’t stop when Polly threw wine over Adam, or when Adam blocked Polly on all social media. The ex-fiancées have been taking digs at each other whenever they possibly can. Polly’s initial statement after the reunion episodes

After the reunion episodes aired, Polly posted a lengthy statement on her Instagram story saying she was fed up with people “putting their behaviour on her.”

“One thing I will never allow again is people taking advantage of who I am as a person. I’ve done it for far too long with old friends and new and it’s making me look like an absolute mockery to my actual friends who love and care about me,” she wrote.

Polly said “if me voicing something someone’s already done because I’m your friend and should protect you, even though quite literally hundreds of people are telling me I should be having a completely different reaction to what’s been done to me, and I’m defending their behaviour, that’s a little bit muggy, and I refuse to be part of that any longer.”

She also acknowledged that the “double standard” in situations since leaving the show has been “absolutely insane.”

She finished the statement by warning she was “sick of keeping quiet, sick of being there for people who aren’t there for me, sick of defending people when I haven’t had the same back when I’ve needed it and I’m sick of being a f**king mug.”

The Baby Reindeer scandal refers to the time when Adam posted a meme about Polly comparing her to Martha from Baby Reindeer, and labelling himself as “baby acorn,” which was a nod to his acorn-esque haircut. While the joke was centred around himself and his hairstyle, he didn’t pass up the opportunity to shade Polly while he was at it.

At the time, Polly told The Tab: “My take is it’s absolutely pathetic, he’s 34 years old and still trying to prove he’s ‘right’ in a situation where no one’s right or wrong or should be the overall one who’s right with everything. I wish him well with him wanting to stay in the limelight that bad to gain off my expense.”

In the chaotic MAFS reunion episodes, Adam was beefing with Polly for posting things about him on social media to the point where he “had to block her.” She’d been posting a few quotes on her Instagram story and also some TikToks. In one in particular she wrote: “When you’re arguing with a master manipulator and they hit you with the gaslighter classic ‘give me and example of when that happened’ but from the adrenaline rush of arguing you can’t remember anything so now you just look like an angry doofus.”

Adam has constantly been talking about how much he’s changed his look. He’s shared loads of glow-up pictures, and spoken about his body transformation. But in doing so, he pinned being able to change his look on finally not being a married man.

Polly recently shared a clip from Gavin and Stacey with the caption: “Dawn is such an underrated character… I am Dawn.”

In the video, Dawn said: “You make me sick you pathetic lump of s***.” To be honest, it sounds spot on with Adam and Polly’s current dynamic.

Adam playing up to the rumours he and Amy are dating

After the show, Amy and Adam have been posting loved-up-looking photos together on Instagram. One even showed Adam getting down on one knee proposing, which of course sparked talks of a couple swap.

However now, Adam has finally addressed the rumours. In a video of him with the BBC, he was asked about their relationship but confirmed they were just pals.

“Me and Amy, she’s like the female version of me. We’re so alike,” Adam said. “We both said to each other, yeah we find each other attractive. But, our friendship’s that good we’d never want to spoil that.” Adam also said he’s told Amy he would “always like to have you as a friend in my life” over the risk of it not working out.

“I think me and Amy will be staying friends for, I’d like to think, the rest of my life,” he added. “She’s someone that I do trust. I feel like I can tell her anything.”

In an Instagram interview posted today, Adam was asked what his least favourite thing about MAFS UK was, and he said “my ex-wife.” Honestly, I don’t think they’ll ever give it up.
