Polly from MAFS UK brands Adam ‘absolutely pathetic’ after comparing her to Baby Reindeer

Polly from MAFS UK 2024 has hit back at Adam after he posted a meme on his Instagram story comparing him and Polly to the Netflix show Baby Reindeer.

At the reunion dinner party, Adam called out Polly for posting memes and videos that he claimed were targeted at him. Polly told him to stop “assuming” they’re about him, but Adam has since retaliated. He posted a meme on his Instagram story which depicted Polly as Martha from Baby Reindeer.

The meme was more focused on Adam’s “acorn” haircut which people have been talking about online, but he photoshopped Polly’s face onto the poster where Martha sits.

In an exclusive statement to The Tab, Polly responded to the controversial meme and branded Adam as “absolutely pathetic.”

Her full statement read: “My take is it’s absolutely pathetic, he’s 34 years old and still trying to prove he’s ‘right’ in a situation where no one’s right or wrong or should be the overall one who’s right with everything. I wish him well with him wanting to stay in the limelight that bad to gain off my expense.”

Her statement to The Tab wasn’t the only thing she had to say regarding Adam’s behaviour on the show. On Sunday, she posted a lengthy statement on her Instagram story saying she was fed up with people “putting their behaviour on her.”

“One thing I will never allow again is people taking advantage of who I am as a person. I’ve done it for far too long with old friends and new and it’s making me look like an absolute mockery to my actual friends who love and care about me,” she wrote.

Polly said “If me voicing something someone’s already done because I’m your friend and should protect you, even though quite literally hundreds of people are telling me I should be having a completely different reaction to what’s been done to me, and I’m defending their behaviour, that’s a little bit muggy, and I refuse to be part of that any longer.”

She also acknowledged that the “double standard” in situations since leaving the show has been “absolutely insane.”

She finished the statement by warning she was “sick of keeping quiet, sick of being there for people who aren’t there for me, sick of defending people when I haven’t had the same back when I’ve needed it and I’m sick of being a f**king mug.”
