If you’ve been watching I’m A Celeb, you may have spotted GK Barry wearing a secret code necklace.

The TikTok icon has a gold chain that says the word “eyelashes” on the pendant, but what does it mean?

Well, the adorable necklace is actually a nod towards her girlfriend, England footballer Ella Rutherford.

When she first started dating the athlete, Grace wanted to keep the identity of her girlfriend private. So, she nicknamed her “eyelashes” as she gets long eyelash extensions.

“Big news everyone. Big news. No one’s died, but I am in love. I’m off the market,” she said on her podcast Saving Grace.

“I’m not gonna say who it is but I’m gonna give her a nickname called Eyelashes. So whenever I talk about Eyelashes, I’m talking about the love of my life.”

This allowed GK Barry to talk about her love life without unveiling who Ella was. It didn’t take long for fans to uncover her name anyway, but the nickname has clearly stuck.

Ella, 24, started her football career at Millwall and now plays as a striker for Ipswich Town.

On her podcast, Grace revealed her stint in the jungle will be the longest time she has ever spent apart from her girlfriend.

The pair met in early 2024 and Grace immediately said she would “never go back” to dating men.

“I feel like I went very wrong with men. I don’t like men anymore. I will never go back to a man. God forbid. Yeah, I just love it. I just love it.”

The 25-year-old opened up about coming out to her parents in a conversation with Dean and Jane in the jungle.

“It was by accident I found Ella, through a mutual friend and then I really liked her the first day I met her but I’d never told my parents,” she said.

“I’d mentioned, ‘Oh I’m just going to see my friend Ella’ or ‘I’m staying round Ella’s’ so they’d heard her name.”

Her parents then asked one day “Who’s Ella?” and the influencer casually revealed: “Oh. she’s my girlfriend.”

“They just love her, they never had an issue with it.”
