Get Lost with Bournemouth’s newly reopened club

In the heart of Bournemouth is a little place called The Square. A stones throw away from here, you will find a slug and lettuce to fulfil your cocktail fantasies, a Pret which weirdly Prince William visited (wtf) but we shall use for hangover coffee and most importantly, Bournemouth’s new nightclub – Lost.

I say new, but Lost used to be at the heart of Bournemouth night life until its closure in late 2021. Since then, it is back and better than ever – in a brand new location. So, I decided to do everyone a massive favour and treat myself to a VIP night out. I deserve it, ok.

What to expect

Lost is decorated in a temple style, accentuated with fairly dark features and lighting; which, if you can’t tell, made for some great pictures. So this was an instant tick from me. After flagging someone down at the bar, we were shown to our table and a lovely barmaid brought me over a heft bottle of bubbly to kick the wine I had already consumed into overdrive. In summary, your girl got to sit her pretty cheeks on a cream coloured booth and sip Prosecco until the room turned sideways. What a great Thursday.

The Dj was seemingly having the time of his life, chatting up girls and mixing some classic DnB until the early hours of the morning – sounds like a good job if you ask me. Another tick. The drinks were flowing and I had enough space to bust out a few Annabel classic dance moves. Trust me, they’re meant to be missed.

Lost needs more people dancing away to the light DnB tracks and looking pretty. With a larger crowd, this would be such a banging night out, so grab your housemates and tell all of your friends of friends, its time to get groovin’. But, all in all, I would classify this a good night as I stumbled home, and dreamt of the full English I would inhale in the morning. I can now confirm, I could only hack beans on toast – fumbled it.
