Amy Bradley boarded the ship on Saturday, three days before she went missing
“Amy and I flew down to San Juan together, separate from my parents. We got to the ship and everyone boarded, bringing our luggage to our room,” her dad Ron explained.
The first thing they did when they got there was go out to their balcony, which was on the eighth story, and Amy didn’t want to look down because she was scared of the height.
“I leaned over the rail to look straight down and I was like ‘Oh my god, Amy, look at this’. And she said, ‘Nope’ and stood back by the sliding glass door,” he said.
After that, they walked around the ship, looked at all the things there were to see, spent some time at the pool, went to the casino and had dinner. Her dad said they were all “having a great time”.

“We were at sea on Sunday and on Monday we docked at Aruba and we decided as a family to get off in Aruba, look through the town, buy some gifts,” her mum Iva then explained. “Amy bought gifts for her friends. We bought some things.
“We rented a Jeep or some type of open air vehicle and we took off and we ended up getting lost on Aruba on the other side of the island. It was very hot. We found our way back, grabbed a bite to eat, I think at Taco Bell.”
Then, they boarded the ship again, took showers and got dressed up ready for a formal dinner. Iva said they “had a lovely dinner that evening”.

Amy went out partying with her brother the night before her disappearance
That night, Amy went out with her brother Brad, just hours before her disappearance.
“Before the boat left Aruba to head to Curaçao, there was a a big pool party where everybody attended. Lots of activity and music and dancing and that kind of thing. We were talking with our parents, business associates, and everybody was just having a great time,” Brad said.
“When the pool party ended, we decided to go up to the dance club and spend a couple hours up there until the place closed down.”
After the club closed, Amy was sitting on the upper balcony inside the nightclub with some people she’d met, and Brad was also hanging out in the same place with a different group.
“When I left the club, I motioned to Amy like ‘I’m going to be out here’ and she waved me on. I got back to my
room around 3.35am. The key card data shows that Amy came in just five minutes later. She came out through the room and joined me on the balcony,” he added.
Brad went to bed, and Amy said she wanted to sleep on the balcony
They spent a while talking about what they were going to do the next day, but it was almost 4am by this point, so Brad said he was going to bed.
“She said that the wind felt good and she was laying on the lounger against the sliding glass door and said she was just going to sleep in the chair. So, I told her I loved her and went inside and closed the door behind me,” he recalled. “I was woken up by my parents the next morning standing at the foot of my bed letting me know they were going out to look for her.”
Almost three decades later, Amy has still never been found.
