Charlie was on Lovestruck High before MAFS UK: Here’s what she was actually like

Did you watch Lovestruck High? Of course you didn’t. I fear literally no one did. But guess what… I did. I watched it all, for some reason. I have no clue why I did this to myself, but I really stuck with it. I watched every episode. And yet I somehow didn’t even clock that Charlie from MAFS UK was actually on Lovestruck High – it just completely passed me by. But now I’ve made all the connections, here’s what Charlie was actually like back in 2022 when she was on Lovestruck High.

What the hell is Lovestruck High?

Right, bear with me here, because it sounds like a fever dream. Lovestruck High was a dating show on Amazon Prime Video, which had the actual Lindsay Lohan on board as a host, narrator and “principal”. It was a dating show that had this sort of bizarre high school theme to it, where they’d all pretend to be back at school. The show had great queer representation – and one of the biggest names from it was Junaid Ahmed. He caused loads of drama, and is now on TOWIE. Where he also causes loads of drama.

Charlie was on it, and like she said on MAFS UK that she falls fast and hard? She fell fast and hard. She didn’t find love on the show but didn’t get expelled either, which is kind of like this show’s version of getting dumped from the villa. She made it all the way to the final episode, which was prom themed.

Speaking to Reality Tidbit when the show was releasing, Charlie said then she was a “typical lesbian” who fell for people fast. MAFS UK supports this claim, as we’ve seen! she also spoke about the show’s representation saying “it’s more important than ever that we’re a diverse bunch of human beings that all live in the same world.” She explained that the show can be vital in educating viewers and teaching them that being gay is normal and okay.

She spoke a lot about how she wanted to come back on TV following the show, so she really followed her dreams there. She explained“I love to talk to people, chat to people, I think I just want to maybe raise some money for charities and do stuff to help other people, that’s sort of where I want to go in my journey.”

After Lovestruck High ended, MAFS UK bride Charlie posted on Instagram saying “The first semester at Lovestruck High is over and school is officially out!! I’ll forever be grateful that I got the chance to be apart of the OG Cast in the first ever series of Lovestruck High!  I miss it, can we go back please!? BIG love too all my fellow classmates, you know who you are!!”
