Spray tans to surgery: The Vanderpump Rules cast transformations from first episode to now

A lot has changed in 10 years

Over the past 10 years, Vanderpump Rules has dominated Bravo’s reality screens and gained popularity on social media. Lisa Vanderpump knew what she was doing when she decided to film the secret lives of her restaurant staff.

The cast has seen many people come and go; the Witches of WEHO have (kind of) stood the test of time, but members like Scheana and Tom Sandoval have been there since day one. What we’re most curious about, however, is the Vanderpump Rules cast transformations from the first episode to now.

It’s safe to say there have been a lot of haircuts, a few nose jobs (*Jax Taylor’s nose jobs), and some major style glow-ups; although we do miss the satin SUR dresses.

Stassi Schroeder

Stassi instantly made her mark on the show on the very first episode of the series. With her quick wit and main character energy, it was hard not to love her from the get go.

I would like to know what’s in those SUR goat’s cheese balls, because miss Schroeder hasn’t aged one bit.

Katie Maloney

Katie Maloney, tequila Katie, icon, call her what you want – all we know is that we love her.

Katie has been on the show since day one, and has stood by all of her friends lovingly throughout it. Did you know she’s also been the only long-running cast member who hasn’t cheated on their partner? It’s the bare minimum but this is shocking when it comes to Vanderpump’s employees.

She’s now rocking a new haircut and an outfit far from the likes of 2014.

Tom Sandoval

Tom Sandoval and his shaved forehead have been with us since day one, which is more tradition over transformation. His relationships have seen the latter however, and he’s currently embodying his “rockstar” persona via his cover music band, Sandoval and The Most Extras.

Before the whirlwind that was Scandoval, he looked completely different compared to his look in 2024. But with the cast wages being more than generous, it kind of checks out.

Jax Taylor

Three nose jobs later, Jax Taylor arguably has one of the biggest Vanderpump Rules cast transformations from the first episode to now. He has undergone quite the transformation. Might we add that this is because he “never took the doctor’s advice” after each surgery; it’s not exactly a cheap mistake, is it?

Now starring on The Valley, Jax has been crowned reality TV royalty for many years, we just can’t keep him off of our screens.

Scheana Shay

Whether she’s good as gold, or she’s Sheshu (according to Lala), all we need to know is that her ex can hang up a TV in seven minutes!

Scheana Shay has made a place name in west Hollywood and all over Lisa’s businesses, retaining her main cast member status across all 11 seasons.

Now a mother of two beautiful children, she looks totally different from 2013 Schaena.

Kristen Doute

Kristen was axed from the show in its eighth season, along with Stassi – aside from her special appearance on the season 10 finale.

She has been called chaotic by a number of her cast mates, gone through a variety of questionable boyfriends but all in all has had a major emotional glow-up. She now stars on The Valley, alongside Jax, and has recently got engaged.

Tom Schwartz

Whilst he didn’t make it as a bartender, Tom Schwartz used his charm and affiliation with Katy to land himself a running place on the show. This eventually made him Lisa and Ken’s business partner, helping to create and run TomTom.

Now divorced, Schwartz is Katie’s ex-husband and best friend to Sandoval and Jax, which meant audience’s seeing him on their screens throughout the entirety of the series.

James Kennedy

DJ James Kennedy didn’t join the show until season three, but his presence has left a lasting effect on the show.

We see him start out as a young British lad who has trouble thinking before they speak (think “Pumptinis!”) and witness him transform into one of the most loved members of the cast.

The now festival-playing DJ looks totally different now.

Ariana Madix

Although Ariana had been previously working at Villa Blanca, she didn’t join the show until season two and with no doubt became a quick fan favourite.

Miss Madix has always been gorgeous, but with no doubt has she experienced a post-breakup glow-up (here’s your reminder to drop your cheating boyfriend).

Now the Queen of Love Island USA, Chicago on Broadway, and Vanderpump Rules itself, Ariana has had a GLOW up.

Lala Kent

Lala Kent has been everything but shy on our screens, and she immediately came into the show with a fierce personality and a dream.

She joined the show in season four when she was only 23, and has since had a pretty public split from her ex and now has two children.

Lisa Vanderpump

It wouldn’t be correct to leave out the woman who started it all, Lisa Vanderpump.

We have watched her change the face of reality TV, from RHOBH to her most recent venture, Vanderpump Villa. It’s safe to say she has aged like fine wine, and we couldn’t get enough of the business tycoon.

In the first episode of her hit show, Lisa looks pretty much like herself now, just a little younger. If only we could all age the same way.
