The MAFS UK 2024 bridge Polly Sellman has already proven herself to be deeply iconic. At the first dinner party, she teamed up with Holly and Lacey like a reboot of The Powerpuff Girls in order to put Alex and Adam back in their places. We took a look inside Polly’s life when she’s not defending womankind on MAFS UK 2024.

Who is Polly from MAFS UK 2024?

Polly Sellman is 29 years old. She was 28 back when this season of MAFS was being filmed. Her birthday is 22 June, so her star sign is cancer.

Polly is originally from Kent. Her parents are called Andy and Susan. She has a sister called Phoebe, a niece and a nephew.

Polly has been living in Australia

She lived in Brisbane for a while right before MAFS, then returned to the UK so she could be on the show and find love. Instead, she found Adam.

She’s a very adventurous traveller

As well as trekking all over Australia, Polly has been to several exciting locations. Her Instagram looks like a brochure in a travel agency.

In the last few years, she’s been to *takes deep breath* Bali, the Great Barrier Reef, San Miguel de Salinas in Spain, Rome in Italy, Budapest, and pretty much everywhere in the UK that has a beach and a pub. Valid.

Of course, she also went to Italy for her, ahem, interesting honeymoon with Adam. Although, apparently the honeymoon wasn’t as bad as it looked on TV, because she only cried once each day (?).

What job does Polly have?

Polly from MAFS currently has a regular 9-to-5 job as a careers advisor. However, her life nearly went in a very different direction.

Polly is secretly an ex-theatre kid

Polly has already proven herself to be one of the funniest and most charming MAFS brides this year, so it’s not massively surprising that she tried to make it as an actress.

The MAFS bride trained at the Reynolds Performing Arts drama school in Kent. In 2020, she completed a BA in Performing Arts at the Institute for Contemporary Theatre in Brighton.

In 2015, she worked as an entertainer at the Olympic Lagoon Resort in Cyprus and John Fowler Holiday Parks in the UK.

She did get an agent, but I am unable to find any plays that she acted in.

Polly still seems to be a theatre enthusiast, though. Her Instagram is full of pics at plays.

What past relationships has Polly had?

Polly is a girls’ girl who’s been a bridesmaid for several of her besties. Polly Sellman went on MAFS UK to find her own One True Pairing.

Polly’s last situationship lasted six years, on and off. She was single for seven months before MAFS. She told Channel 4 that she’s after a “beefcake tradesman”. I’ll leave it up to you to decide if you think Adam fits that description.
