Caspar from MAFS UK is this year’s walking red flag and these warning signs prove it

Run for the hills, Emma!

We have literally barely scratched the new series of MAFS UK – only three episodes in, mind you – and we’ve already established that Caspar is a walking and talking massive red flag. The vibes are in hell, and they keep getting worse. Every episode he’s featured in has just made the red flag wave harder, so here’s a rundown of all the scary bad signs and vibes Caspar is giving that means his Married at First Sight bride Emma should run for the hills and never look back.

Sistergate

Okay, it’s a red flag from the start if your first thought about your new bride is that she reminds you of your sister. I do kind of see the similarities but how is that on your mind within the initial seconds? Let’s unpack that right now.

A family who say ‘she’s of our ilk’

Not that he can fully help this or even do anything about it, but this is an instant red flag. If you’re from a background so posh that they would use this term to talk about someone new entering the fold then I truly believe nothing good can come from it. Why do they care? Why does also being posh make any benefit to if Emma is right for Caspar, and how is the fact that she is one of the only things that kept him been rational about not being attracted to her and wanting to “rip her clothes off”.

Arguing with his sister on TV

Look, we all argue with our siblings. Such is life. But I like to think that even me and my sister, who can get hot-headed for sure, would be in a great mood and never dream of raising a voice to each other at a wedding in front of people – and that’s before you factor in the fact this is being filmed for national television. If a man is willing to actively engage in beef like this with his sister as an adult, it’s a red flag. If he’s willing to get this angry and argue with his sister on TV – it’s the biggest red flag on earth. Because how angry is he willing to get off camera?

Sigh… THAT weight conversation

It doesn’t get worse than this. When Caspar and Emma are talking on their honeymoon, he very bluntly tells her he’s not attracted to her because she’s curvy and he’s never fancied curvy women before. With all the subtlety of a brick to a face. The two talk it out later and seemingly are making progress, but how he needed it to get to that to make him realise it’s probably not the best plan of attack is utterly beyond me. The Caspar red flag is waving and screaming hard on MAFS UK – and we’re only three episodes in.
