Molly-Mae posts for the first time since Tommy Fury split and thanks everyone for support

Fellow Islanders have left cute and supportive messages in the comments

Molly-Mae has finally returned to Instagram, sharing a heartfelt message in her first post since announcing her split from Tommy Fury.

The reality TV couple confirmed their engagement was over via social media on August 14th, as cheating rumours circulated online.

In her first post back on social media, Molly-Mae thanked her fans for their support during her break up, with friends and fellow Love Islanders showing their support in the comments.

It seems that after a turbulent few weeks filled with cheating rumours, denials, and influencers being forced to refuse their involvement with Tommy, Molly-Mae has taken herself out of the spotlight both online and in reality.

Posing on a balcony in a serene setting, Molly-Mae looked content as she looked out over the water. Captioning the post, she simply wrote: “Thank you for being the best online friends I could’ve ever wished for”.

Friends and fans of the star were quick to flood her with messages of support and well wishes.

Love Island 2021 alumni, Mary Bedford, pledged her alliance to Molly-Mae amid the split, leaving a single red heart in her comments.

Other Islanders who left heartfelt comments included Jessie Wynter, who wrote “We love you Molly”, as well as 2022 winner Ekin-Su, who added: “Stay strong… and always put yourself first.. time will heal you. Lots of love”.

Similarly, Geordie Shore’s Chloe Ferry simply commented a series of red hearts on the post.

Cleaning guru, Mrs Hinch, even shared her best wishes to Molly-Mae, writing: “I promise you’ll slowly mend Molly, and be stronger than you ever knew possible, until then millions are here to help hold you up. Sending love”.

After meeting in 2019 on Love Island, the couple quickly became the show’s most successful couple, with their new fame resulting in Molly-Mae bagging PLT deals and Tommy’s boxing career skyrocketing.

The pair became welcomed their daughter, Bambi, in January 2023 and later became engaged in July of last year. They planned to marry in 2025.

But an Instagram Story posted by Molly-Mae two weeks ago shocked us all, with the star explaining how she never expected their story would end this way, but said after meeting on Love Island 2019 and sharing five years together, they have decided to call it a day.

Tommy’s slightly shorter statement followed shortly after, with many fans suspecting foul play after he “tried to win Molly-Mae back”. The break up is said to have significantly impacted Tommy’s career as he faces cancelled shows and book deals in the wake of their split.

Tommy is yet to share anything online since the split.
