Cat from Love Is Blind UK in tears and hints she and Freddie split up: ‘I struck gold’

Cat from Love Is Blind UK opened up about her time on the show on the Love Is Blind UK: The Official Podcast today, and it wasn’t all smiles I’m afraid. She got very emotional while talking about her and Freddie’s relationship: While she was careful not to spill any explicit details, we can really read between the lines.
She told hosts Matt and Emma Willis that she felt like she had “struck gold” with Freddie, which is actually just so sweet to hear. She mentioned that she was “so dedicated” and “wanted to share my life with this guy”. We saw it on the show, but this extra comment a year later just proves how much love Catherine really did have for Freddie. Why am I getting emotional now?!

She then started to tear up, and took a minute to compose herself. The entire show seemed to have taken a toll on her, and she noted that it was especially hard on her family. “I brought my family into that. For my family, it was so real. They loved Freddie so much.”
She continued: “It was just so hard to watch that happen. I just feel so bad I put them through it. My mum still cries to this day.” No matter what the situation, it must be absolutely brutal to watch your beloved daughter get left at the altar like that on her wedding day. I’d definitely be crying too.

She left us on a bit of a cliffhanger, saying that “A lot has happened after that wedding that no one has seen,” which, after her previous comments, really doesn’t sound promising. She also said that Freddie was “still in her heart” but wouldn’t say in what kind of way, so I guess we’ll have to keep conjuring up our own ideas until Cat reveals all in the Love Is Blind UK reunion episode airs on Monday the 26th of August.
