Wil reveals two heartbreaking scenes Love Island cut that completely change his time with Uma

He planned 100 roses for Uma but production said to wait until tomorrow…knowing he was getting dumped

Since being dumped and Uma leaving with him, Wil Anderson has revealed scenes that were cut from their Love Island journey together that will definitely change perceptions.

Let’s just say, Wil had to win a few of us over again after cracking on with Lucy during Casa Amor when our girl Uma was speaking to absolutely nobody. But then, Wil remained loyal and when he was shockingly dumped, Uma went with him.

Now he’s back in the UK, Wil has been sharing all about which scenes didn’t make it to the final edit of the show, and you might be a bit surprised.

Wil planned a huge proposal with roses for Uma, but was told to wait until tomorrow

I could cry for Wil and Uma, because Wil had a really cute proposal with roses and everything planned for her, but production told him to wait until the next day to do it… knowing full well he was going to be getting dumped that evening.

“I had some good things planned and then they just axed me off,” he said in an interview. “The night of the steal or whatever you want to call it with Reuben and Josh, in the day I had organised to get 100 red roses and some champagne on the terrace and they [Love Island producers] said ‘You can’t do it tonight, you’re gonna do it tomorrow’. I got dumped that night.”

Wil also told Casa Amor bombshell Lucy he was ‘all for Uma’ and encouraged her to talk to other boys

The end of Wil’s Love Island journey went a bit sour, when after Casa Amor and movie night we were made to believe he had deeply wronged Uma, and had been playing away whilst she was at the second villa.

However, Wil has since said that in scenes that were cut from the show, he had told Casa Amor bombshell Lucy that he was “all for Uma” and didn’t intend to recouple with her after Casa, so encouraged her to get to know other boys instead.

“The one thing I’m surprised didn’t make it was me telling Lucy that she isn’t getting picked and that I’m all for Uma,” Wil told Hits Radio UK. “And trying to get her to talk to all the other boys so that she has a fair shot at getting into the main villa. When I came out I got told that no one knew if I was going to stick with Uma or choose Lucy at the recoupling.

“But, at that point in time, Lucy knew that she wasn’t getting picked and everyone else there knew. It was dead early on, I told her very early on, as soon as I’d kissed her, I didn’t feel it at all. So, I told her straight away and it didn’t get aired.” We had him all wrong!
