The Love Island 2023 summer villa has had a HUGE revamp since last year

I’m itching for it to begin!

Love Island 2023 is fast approaching, with just two weeks to go until a bunch of 20-something singletons try to find love in one of the most iconic reality TV dating shows.

Contestants have been rumoured, a date has been set and everyone is desperately waiting for their Love Island fix. Along with a new season, comes a brand new look for the villa. The Majorcan villa has had some major upgrades since viewers last saw Ekin-Su and Davide crowned the winners.

But what are all these changes? Here is a look inside the Love Island 2023 villa in Majorca.

The new villa will have even more space and secret spots

According to The Mirror, the villa has undergone a huge revamp, with the team adding secret spots for those all important chats.

When it came to choosing the new villa, executive producer Mike Spencer said: “They looked at quite a few villas and this was by far the best. The view is beautiful, we want people to tune in and say, ‘This is Love Island’. It’s had a glow up. It’s slightly bigger, it’s a similar pool size but the space around it is bigger.”

It has had a huge ‘eco-friendly’ revamp

The newest addition to the villa is huge solar panels and they have been installed “to lower the production team’s impact on the environment”.

The Islanders are said to be flying out this month

With just two weeks until the summer series begins, it has been reported the new Islanders will be flying out to the Love Island 2023 villa in Majorca this month.

“[They] will fly out late next months ready for the show to begin in just eight weeks,” according to The Sun. “It is hugely exciting and those working on the show cannot wait to get started.”
