Loads of people are resigning from Boris’s government, but at least we have these 18 memes

Right, so last night Sajid Javid resigned as Health Secretary, saying last month’s confidence vote “was a moment for humility, grip and new direction”, and said: “It is clear to me that this situation will not change under your leadership”. Not even 10 minutes later, Chancellor Rishi Sunak also resigned, saying “we cannot continue like this”. The two high-profile resignations prompted an onslaught of similar resignations from people who hold positions within government, throughout last night and this morning. In one word: it’s a bit of a mess.
