When you watch Love Is Blind, you think you’re watching a show about strangers falling in love with one another. But in reality it’s actually hard to focus on the Love Is Blind couples when all you can see is those obnoxiously huge gold wine glasses. The chokehold those glasses have over us and the prop team on Love Is Blind is STRONG. They’re insanely extra and for some reason they had us hooked from the first time we saw them. They’ve gone from the pods, then to Mexico and to their family homes plus we’d be straight up kidding ourselves if we said they weren’t going to be at the weddings too.

The glasses have had a ridiculous amount of screen time and they are photobombing pretty much every scene. The series creator, Chris Coelen told Variety the glasses overbearing presence is down to the fact he likes them. He said: “I don’t know. It’s something I like. When you turn on the show, you know it’s our show. It’s a very authentic, really true following of these people’s journeys, but I like the fact that we have this sort of connective tissue with that in a really light way, it’s fun.”
