‘No one should be treated like this’: Celebs react to Britney Spears’ court hearing

Britney Spears is currently fighting for her freedom amidst the grueling legal proceedings surrounding the conservatorship that her father holds. Since 2008, it has been revealed that everything from her finances to her fertility has been controlled by her family members, and details are starting to emerge depicting to exactly what shocking extent this vice grip over her life has become. In the hours since the first details emerged from the courthouse, many celebs have taken to Twitter to vocalise their support for Britney Spears.

So, from ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake to fellow musicians Halsey and Mariah Carey, here are all the celebs that have spoken out in support of Britney Spears during her ongoing conservatorship battle.

Justin Timberlake

The first expressed admiration for Britney’s courage in “speaking up for herself” and called the system of conservatorship “abusive”.
