Two arrested after horror shooting near Hallam Uni’s athletics stadium
It left a man fighting for his life
Two men have been arrested after a horror shooting near Sheffield Hallam University's athletics stadium.
A man was left fighting for his life after being shot in the upper body on Staniforth Road, in the Darnall area, on January 4.
Police descended on the scene, which borders Woodbourn athletics track, just before 5pm and rushed the man to hospital. He has since been discharged.

Officers have today arrested a 17-year-old boy and a man, 22, on suspicion of attempted murder.
The 22-year-old has been bailed and the boy remains in police custody.
