17 reactions to Netflix’s Our Planet that prove it was an emotional whirlwind
The guilt, the awful awful guilt
Our Planet was released on Netflix last week. And like all David Attenborough nature documentaries, it is very very good. Seriously, David Attenborough could narrate someone taking their bins out and it would be a work of art.
One thing that particularly stands out about the eight-episode Our Planet series, is the whirlwind of emotions it takes you through. One minute you are relaxed, watching incredibly HD footage of bees pollinating, and then the next you are devastatingly shocked at footage of walruses falling to their deaths. It really is a rollercoaster.
If you thought you were alone with your feelings of guilt, admiration, devastation and all that's in between whilst watching Our Planet – you thought wrong. Twitter proves we all feel exactly the same. Here are the best reactions to Our Planet on Netflix, that encompass the feelings of the entire world.

Netflix has since defended including the walrus footage in the series. According to TMZ, the streaming site has stuck by the scene because it documents facts. Netflix told TMZ the Our Planet team worked with a Russian biologist who was been working on that stretch of coastline, and with the walruses, for 35 years. The scene, despite how upsetting it might be, serves a purpose.
Our Planet is now available to stream worldwide on Netflix.
