It’s official, The University of Leeds have won their first ever varsity title. Yes, it’s true, the impossible has actually happened.
After over 60 fixtures and 25 sports including rugby, water polo and athletics, The University of Leeds managed to steal the reigning Beckett crown after 14 consecutive years.

Despite a defeat of 51/5 in the greatly-anticipated Rugby Finale, The Uni of Leeds took the overall win, and were crowned 2018 Varsity winners at the Carnegie stadium this evening.
There is no doubt that Woodhouse will be flooded with green sweatshirts tomorrow, as this day will go down as a huge victory for all those involved.
