Varsity final is a matter of hours away and our poly neighbours have made a strong start with a tragically misspelt Twitter hashtag, #HallamVaristy.
It’s been trending in Sheffield all day, with both students and the official Hallam magazine descending into grammatical Twitter meltdown.
We’re already up 5 points, and clearly ahead in intelligence as well as sporting ability.
“They don’t help themselves do they? On a day like today, when their athletes need them most, this is how Hallam responds. Classic. They’ve let themselves down,” said English second year Jess Smith.
