Um, we found Demi from Love Is Blind UK acting in this random sitcom in 2014

Um, it turns out Love Is Blind UK wasn’t the first time Demi has been on TV, as she was an extra in a sitcom 10 years ago. Yep, our girlie has an acting credit and didn’t mention it!

Demi has become a fav during Love Is Blind UK, starting off in the pods more shy and unsure of herself, before going on a full journey of self-love and discovery when she was planning to get married to Ollie.

Before the Netflix show, Demi worked as a safeguarding and attendance manager in London. Her Instagram shows her as being into fitness, football and travel. However, one part of her work life she failed to mention on the show was a cameo as an extra in a BBC comedy.

Yep, Demi was in Some Girls, a British sitcom written by Bernadette Davis that aired on BBC Three. It had three series, from 2012 to 2014.

The show stars Adelayo Adedayo, Mandeep Dhillon, Alice Felgate and Natasha Jonas. It focuses on the four 16-year-old schoolgirls and the general trials and tribulations girls of that age face in life. Think first love, friendships and school pressures.

Demi featured as an extra in the final season of the show, and I spotted her in the background of two scenes. The first was when the main characters of the show were watching a sports game, and Demi was in the stands behind them. She literally just sat there in silence, no facial expressions and no lines to say – so the acting skills are sorry to say, pretty minimal.

The finale of the show saw the girls head to their prom, and Demi was there too. She was part of the general school population as the girls arrived at the event, and was seen reacting to the girls’ arrivals, and raising a toast to the event.

Very fun, but I don’t think we’re expecting Oscar nominations for her anytime soon.
