I mean, the moment Ben Affleck was spotted with that awful mohawk I knew it was curtains for him and Jennifer Lopez, that’s a prime post-divorce haircut.

But according to some juicy quotes from insider sources, we have a better idea of what exactly it was the last straw that caused Jennifer to finally decide to divorce him. A source told PEOPLE: “She’s very disappointed and sad, but Ben hasn’t given her any signs that he wants to continue their marriage. He hasn’t shown any commitment and interest in making their marriage work. It’s gotten to the point that she just needs to look out for herself.”

It seems the pair decided to call it quits on their relationship on April 26, according to divorce papers that were filed by Jennifer and obtained by Us Weekly. To add an extra layer of salt to the wound, that was their two year wedding anniversary. Yikes.

In early August rumours of the relationship being on the rocks started to swirl, with sources telling PEOPLE: “They’re moving on separately. Jennifer is trying to find a new home to start fresh. Considering everything that’s going on, Jennifer is having a good summer. She’s been off and able to focus on what’s next. She’s enjoyed spending time with her kids, family and friends. She always has good attitude even when things are not perfect.”

Now we just need to wait another 15 years for them to reconnect and go through this all over again.
