Samantha reveals Joey refused to say goodbye to her but scene was axed from Love Island

Samantha was brutally dumped from Love Island after spending two weeks coupled up with Joey Essex, which all came crashing down when his ex Grace appeared as a bombshell. But now Samantha has dropped a bombshell of her own and she’s now revealed he actually snubbed her in an axed scene.

Samantha appeared on the Not My Bagg podcast and discussed one of the reasons why she’s so upset over what happened, revealing that Joey refused to say goodbye to her when she was leaving. This is in contrast to what Joey claimed, which is that he was looking out for Samantha and did try to speak to her.

She explained that Joey claiming he was looking for her was completely wrong, and admitted what really went down between the pair. She explained: “I think this is why I’m so upset about what has happened. When they got chose to go to that villa, everyone has to say their goodbyes and I’ve walked over to the whole group, I’ve been hugging everyone. Off they went, I didn’t get a hug off Joey – he just went. And when they come back he did it again. He didn’t come over to me, again.

“Me and Harriett were in the snug and we had a chat for about 15 minutes. In those 15 minutes he went to the kitchen and asked Nicole Samuel if I was ok. Come to me and see if I’m ok! And now Joey’s made out that he was looking for me. Well no, you went straight to the kitchen, you didn’t even look for me. And besides, we’re in a locked villa I weren’t very far. Again he’s making out like ‘I was looking for her, I tried to speak to her.’ You never.”
