A factual rundown of what Bridgerton characters would get if they went for a cheeky Nando’s

Colin Bridgerton gets a Sunset burger to remind him of his travels

Look, I know what you’re thinking. Why would any single person in the cast of Bridgerton on Netflix ever in their life be eating a Nando’s? They wouldn’t. It’s something you’re just going to have to get over. Whilst they might literally be completely unable to ever enjoy the simple pleasures of the peri peri tingle upon one’s lips, are you seriously going to try and tell me they wouldn’t be devouring and slathering from the gob given the opportunity? This is a period drama where you can hear postmodern lush orchestrations of Taylor Swift for god’s sake – stranger things have happened. Series four of Bridgerton and Nando’s opens its first restaurant – here is what the characters would be ordering.

Anthony Bridgerton – EXTRA HOT

I’m gonna say he’s on the half chicken here, but could also be thighs. Even the messy fiddliness of wings. The section of the chicken isn’t important: What IS crucial is you know full well he’s getting the hottest, spiciest peri peri available just so he can impress Kate and throw his weight around as a big man. Crack on, darlin’.

Benedict Bridgerton – Olives, with a side of judging

Benedict Bridgerton is too preoccupied with making judgements on what the rest of the characters are scranning than he is his own appetite – he gets a bowl of olives to tide him over but gets so carried away giving dirty looks to what the rest of the bunch are ramming down their gullet he just leaves it at that.

Colin Bridgerton – Sunset burger

The name reminds him of his exotic travels. One bite in and he starts telling the stories again. Spare us!

Daphne Bridgerton – Plain Caesar salad

Nobody smiled more than Daphne Bridgerton when she saw Nando’s launched a new Caesar salad. She already had a boring plain chicken order but now she can ascend to new highs of basic bitch. Might as well have not bothered coming.

Francesca Bridgerton- Chicken butterfly lemon & herb

The Molly-Mae, crushed velvet order of dreams. Of course.

Eloise Bridgerton – Imitator wrap, but SPICY

Via Netflix / Nando’s

The chic energy of Eloise is apparent, as is the fact she’d deffo be going for a trendy veggie alternative. You know full well she’d be getting an extra hot spice in the mix just to prove she can go as hard as any man. My queen.

Penelope Featherington – Something off the secret menu

Lady Whistledown herself knows all the secrets, and that trait continues straight into Nando’s. There isn’t a chance in hell she’d be ordering anything from the basic main menu, and when her quirky order arrives with something no one had ever seen before she’d still somehow manage to get away with it without raising a single suspicion.

Violet Bridgerton – Forgot to order

Via Netflix

She was too busy rushing round making sure all the kids were scranning something that she forgot to actually go up to the counter and order something herself. Of all the Bridgerton characters at Nando’s, this travesty is the saddest I fear. Just sort of sheepishly nibbles on any stray chips and broccoli that may come her way.

Gregory and Hyacinth – Nandino’s kids menu

Via Netflix / Nando’s

Peri tamer chicken, few chips and a little ice cream for afters. God bless.

Queen Charlotte – Never turned up

Via Netflix / Nando’s

Do you not think she’s got better things to be doing than slobbing about at Nando’s? Get real.

Cressida – A tomato salad, some hummus and the macho peas

Via Netflix / Nando’s

A chic order for someone who is truly allergic to serving anything other that c*nt. And that still applies when it comes to food orders.

Mr Finch – Halloumi sticks AND the little slices you can shove on a burger

Via Netflix / Nando’s

But no burger ever comes. He just loves cheese, okay?
