The incredible glow ups the Bridgerton characters have had from season one to now

Since season one of Bridgerton aired on Netflix all the way back on Christmas Day of 2020, the characters in our favourite show have had some pretty huge transformations. I can’t believe we all used to still fancy the Bridgerton brothers, despite them having those god awful side burns? What a time.

Over the course of four years and now three seasons, the residents of the Ton have changed loads. Of course we had the on-screen glow up of Penelope this season which changed lives forever, and Colin came back from travelling Europe as a whole new man. But what about everyone else?

Here are the biggest transformations the characters from Bridgerton have had from season one to now.

Penelope Featherington

Season three was all about our girl Pen debuting her new look in the Ton. Honestly, when she stepped down into that ball with her new wardrobe and rich red hair, I shed a tear. Colin Bridgerton, good luck to you.

Colin Bridgerton

Did Colin mention he’s been to Paris, Italy and some other places and found himself? I can’t remember. Anyway, he’s most definitely gone from baby-faced season one Colin to Mr Steal Your Heart in season three.

Anthony Bridgerton

I’m putting Anthony ditching the awful side burns and becoming a sexy Viscount down to Kate Sharma. We have so much to thank her for. Wow.

Eloise Bridgerton

Francesca Bridgerton

Ok, the main reason for the big transformation here is because the actress who plays Francesca Bridgerton has literally changed. Hannah Dodd stepped into the role from season three, after Ruby Stokes, who played the character in seasons one and two, left the show to be the lead of another Netflix series, Lockwood & Co.

Casting a slightly older actress to play the Bridgerton sister has definitely helped her feel ready to step out in the Ton, instead of still feeling like one of the much younger siblings.

Gregory Bridgerton

I can’t get over how much the younger Bridgerton siblings have grown up since the show first started! Gregory was literally a tiny lil boy when he first joined the Netflix show, and now he’s a young man!

Hyacinth Bridgerton

Hyacinth Bridgerton has also literally grown up on the show. She’s looking so different in the most recent seasons – they grow up so fast!

Benedict Bridgerton

Cressida Cowper
