Um, apparently Love Island winner Ekin-Su is now dating TOWIE’s James Argent?!

In the strangest crossover of all time, it’s been reported Love Island winner Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu is now dating TOWIE star, James Argent. No, I’m not making this up.

Apparently Ekin and Arg have been “growing close” since her CBB exit and have been on “cosy dates” together at each other’s houses.

MailOnline is reporting the pair, who both live in Essex, have been meeting up and dating since Ekin was on CBB, and James “helped her cope” with all the backlash she got following her stint in the house. The couple are reportedly not official yet, but friends of them are “excited to see where their relationship could go”. Um, so am I!

An insider told MailOnline: “James lives close to Ekin, they are practically neighbours – so when she needed a friend after Celebrity Big Brother, he was there for her. Their friendship developed into something stronger and they started to spend more time together, even passionately kissing.

“It’s still early days and they both appreciate they need to take it slow, having come out of high-profile relationships in the past six months… but there’s no denying the feelings and chemistry between them.”

Ekin hasn’t dated anyone since her messy on and off relationship with Davide, who she won Love Island 2022 with. After breaking up and getting back together, they finally split up for good in January this year.

Announcing the news, Ekin-Su said: “The last 18 months have been a rollercoaster of ups and downs, just like every relationship. Davide and I both wanted to make this relationship work as we cared deeply for each other. Unfortunately, I have recently made the decision to end our relationship and to go our separate ways.

“Breakups are never easy for any couple, and we hope our privacy will be respected at this time. I enjoyed our time together and will cherish the memories we made.”

This then turned messy when Davide accused Ekin-Su of changing her breakup statement last minute, and he claimed she didn’t dump him. He instead said the split was a “joint decision” and they agreed on a statement, which Ekin-Su changed.

This news of the split came as it was previously reported Ekin-Su and Davide had been rowing over an OnlyFans model. Davide is said to have liked pictures of an OnlyFans model, and Ekin-Su was seen liking tweets that questioned his loyalty.
