Kanye West Vultures lyrics

The most unforgivably vile lyrics on Kanye West’s new album Vultures 1

Oh boy

If you’re anything like me, you have probably found yourself reading this because you were once a fan of Kanye West and his music. But like most people with half a brain and a decent moral compass, you abandoned that after a string of inexcusable behaviour from Kanye West over the last few years – on which he’s just doubled down. This means that any release from Kanye West now is, well – null and void. But I was curious to see what the lyrics were that have made this record so controversial – with critics such as Anthony Fantano declaring the album unreviewable. Here are the worst lyrics from across Vultures 1, the new album from Kanye West and Ty Dolla Sign.

‘Keep a few Jews on the staff now’

This is taken from track one, Stars. Kanye’s first verse is referencing the antisemitic remarks he’s made – including a tweet where he said he was going to “go death con 3 on Jewish people”. It’s been inferred this lyric is addressing the antisemitism by claiming he has Jewish people working for him.

Taylor Swift name checked

Despite the fact Kanye West has had nothing but backlash since his widely condemned, infamous stage invasion of Taylor Swift’s awards acceptance in 2008, he still struggles to go a year without mentioning her name. Anyway, on Carnival, Kanye says “Why she say she sucked my d***?/ Then she say she ain’t sucked my d*** / She gon’ take it up the ass, like a ventriloquist / I mean since Taylor Swift/ since I had the Rollie on the wrist / I’m the new Jesus, b****, I turn water to Cris’.”

Comparing himself to R Kelly, Bill Cosby and P Diddy

All men who have been convicted for sex crimes or accused of alleged ones, of course.

“Now I’m Ye Kelly, b**** (Ha), now, I’m Bill Cosby, b**** (Ha) / Now, I’m Puff Daddy rich (Ha), that’s MeToo me rich,” Kanye raps.

Backtracking on antisemitism apology

“Crazy, bipolar, antisemite / And I’m still the king/ Still the king/ Still/ They thought headlines was my kryptonite/ Still the king.”

Those lyrics comes at the end of final track on Kanye West and Ty Dolla Sign’s Vultures 1. He also says on the title track “I ain’t antisemitic, I just f***ed a Jewish b****.”
