‘Catch this, you little pr*ck’: Made In Chelsea’s most dramatic drink throws, ranked

Sam Prince is on the receiving end of a LOT of these

After 12 years of Made In Chelsea, there’s one sentence-stopping move which has become an absolute staple of the series: The drink throw. Started by Millie Mackintosh in 2013 and carried on a decade later by just about every cast member going— you know these people are rich because nobody is wasting a vodka martini or a £12 double gin and tonic quite like the Chelsea crowd.

The first cocktail hurl of Made In Chelsea: Corsica came when Sam Prince started to gaslight Inga while they were on the brink of a break up. So, in honour of the age-old tradition of beverages flying absolutely everywhere on the Channel 4 series, here are the top ten Made In Chelsea swills:

10. Sam Thompson throwing a drink over Jamie Laing for saying Harry Baron shagged his girlfriend

Thompson’s chuck here isn’t that satisfying because Jamie is still laughing and smiling. However he did get Sam Prince in the process, which earns him a place in the top 10.

9. Liv throwing a drink in Sam Thompson’s face for claiming she got with another girl’s boyfriend

Liv slightly misses here but she throws with force and follows up  “you’re a fucking idiot”. Simple and effective.

8. Liv swilling Julius in Ibiza for claiming she was hooking up with the guy that Tiff liked

Another chuck from Bentley and this time she gets her target (Julius Cowdrey) square in the face with the splash. Stunning.

7. Liv chucking a drink on Sam Thompson and kicking him out of her lockdown pool party

This is the best Bentley beverage throw of all. She hurls her cocktail straight into Sam Thompson’s face (this is becoming a reoccurring theme), tells him to get out, immediately apologises to Zara, but acts like Sam is invisible. Iconic.

6. Sam Prince throwing a drink over Julius for saying he had shit luminous blonde hair

“Catch this then you little prick,” Sam says with absolute venom when things with Julius get heated. Evidently, hitting him where it hurts means chatting shit about his hair.

5. Inga throwing a drink over Sam Prince for bringing up Verity while they were in relationship crisis

At first I though Prince had been hit with a cold fish. But no. It’s a massive slither of cucumber. That’s what you get for telling lies.

4. Maeva throwing a drink over Miles for playing games and messing with her mind

“Go to hell”. This is borderline Shakespearean.

3. Maeva throwing a drink over Sam Prince for chatting shit about hers and James’ future

Another on target hit from the most dramatic woman in SW3.

2. Millie throwing a martini in Hugo’s face for cheating on her with her best friend Millie

Made In Chelsea’s swilling origin story. You can tell the vodka in that martini stung Hugo’s eyes because he doesn’t move for about five minutes. Debilitating.

1. Jemima throwing a drink over Sam Prince for cheating on her and then revealing she got with Miles

When I started this listicle I really thought Millie Mackintosh had earned the top spot. But what I totally failed to remember was Sam Prince’s American ex-girlfriend Jemima confronting him for cheating on her, revealing she’d already got with his mate Miles and pouring a drink over his head before declaring “you deserved that”. Revenge is, evidently, served with a slice of lime.
