The mystery mother of Jack Keating from Love Island’s baby has been revealed
Eight months after being on the show, he announced he’s now a father
Love Island 2022 star Jack Keating made the shock announcement yesterday that he’d welcomed a baby, and now the mother has been revealed. Jack was on the show eight months ago, which has left people confused with the timeline of when all this happened.
According to MailOnline, the mother of Jack’s baby is Keely Iqbal, who is an artist, and she and Jack are believed to not currently be together. Keely works as an artist creating custom trainer designs and greeting cards.
As Keely has already given birth, it’s been assumed she was one month pregnant when Jack entered the Casa Amor villa, in July last year. In October, the new mum posted on her Instagram saying: “Five months of growing you 💕” so she became pregnant from around late May to early June.
23-year-old Jack said in an interview recently that he does not currently have a girlfriend, is “single and ready to mingle” and has been on dating apps since not finding love in the villa. Posting his baby news, Jack, who is the son of Ronan Keating, said: “Welcome to the world my little 👸”.
Loads of Islanders were quick to pass on their best wishes to Jack, including Danica Taylor who said: “Congratulations babes!!!!❤️”. Luca Bish added: “Congratulations brother 🏽❤️”. Mollie Salmon said: “Congratulations Jack, you’ll be the best dad.”
As you would expect, a lot of people have been left a bit confused about how he’s had a baby and been on the show, all in the same nine months. “I know I’m bad at maths, but the math ain’t mathing on this at all!!! Love Island isn’t even nine months ago yet,” one person commented.
Another added: “Someone was carrying your baby when you went on Love Island? You’re joking 😮,” whilst someone else said: “I’m so confused. The maths isn’t adding up.”
MailOnline contacted Jack’s representatives for further comment.
