Chrishell Stause announces she’s officially quitting Selling Sunset after nine seasons

After nine seasons of Selling Sunset, Chrishell Stause has announced she’s officially quitting the show, and won’t be returning.
Chrishell previously hinted at her departure from the show during an interview with Variety, where explained her reasoning behind thinking about leaving Selling Sunset, saying: “The reunion was so brutal. In that moment, I realized I will be done here going forward.
“I wish everyone the best, but this isn’t the place for me. It felt a little bit like a dog pile.”

However, in a new interview with Bustle, Chrishell Stause officially confirmed she’s quitting Selling Sunset.
She explained: “I’ve vacillated back and forth with this decision in the past. I have to be honest — having come from nothing, it’s really hard to turn something like this down.
“I’ve gotten to a place where I don’t need the show financially. I’m lucky to have other forms of employment, because it’s no longer good for my mental health.”
As for whether her co-stars will continue to do the show, Chrishell added: “If they do continue, I wish them the best. If they do do another one, by then, I may not watch it. I don’t know. But I have no ill will toward the show.
“The show has given me so many opportunities, and I don’t want to be bitter about it, even though I’m leaving not in the way that I would’ve loved.”
I can’t believe she’s really gone, this is truly the end of an era.
