Right, prepare for your Love Island web to get even messier as it turns out Tyrique is now dating another Love Island star’s ex, and it could all be getting very messy.
Right, so what exactly is all the drama going on here? Well, Tyrique has been competing in Love Island Games for the past few weeks, and he ended coming in second place with his partner and Love Island USA star Justine Nbidia.
However, as it turns out Justine was previously in a relationship with none other than Jack Fowler, with the pair actually winning the first season of Love Island Games together.
Jack and Justine decided to split four months after they split the $100k Love Island Games prize together, with Justine saying at the time about their winnings: “I wouldn’t have been able to get here without Jack. My family could really use this.”
Jack posted a statement confirming his split from Justine after Love Island Games, writing: “BIG love to everyone who supported me and Justine in Love Island Games. Winning together was actually mental.
“Feels like ages ago now lol but just wanted to say we are keeping it as friends. It’s all love and vibes between us.”
Before the two announced they were no longer together, they had previously explained how hard being long distance was for them.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Justine admitted: “Our current relationship status is ‘doing our best’. I feel like we live so far away from each other, so right now we’re just 100 per cent doing our best.”
In another interview with TV Insider, when the two were asked what their current relationship status was, Jack explained that they were “just trying to navigate being separated by so much distance.”
Justine added: “We’re definitely trying our best. We’re logical thinkers. We’re realistic about what our situation is, but we also can’t deny the connection that we have, so we’re just doing our best.”
And whilst it seems like Tyrique and her will give a relationship together a fair shot, given that the distance split her and Jack up before, there’s a chance it could strike again.
